Delray Beach Mortgage Banker 

Scenic Delray Beach, Florida is one of my favorite spots in my service area and is a great place to own a home or visit. The town of Delray has seen an amazing revival in the last 25 years and I am glad to be a part of it. Here we have a combination of amazing oceanside homes, historic old time Florida homes and an amazing expansion that is happening west of route 95. Many customers purchase their second home condo here so they may become "snowbirds".

Here is an example of a very positive sign about Florida home prices. As you can see from this graph provided by CityData, there has been a nice upturn in median home prices in Delray Beach. In my humble opinion it appears to be a good time to buy. If you compare this to any of the other areas of Florida that I have written about, this appears to be one of the best.

 The focal point of the town of Delray Beach is Atlantic Boulevard which has a wonderful array of shops, restaurants and art galleries located less than a mile from the Ocean. There is every type of restaurant to choose from, every type of night club setting whether it is a cutting edge jazz bar, sushi bar, raw bar or sports bar.

Downtown Delray has seen an amazing revival in the last 10 years and offers outstanding restaurants, upscale shopping and romantic walks on scenic Atlantic Avenue. Dozens of golf courses and tennis facilities are minutes away. And the beach... soft white sand melting into the warm waters of the ocean a mile away from the tennis center. What more can you ask for?

For Me the Big Attraction is Tennis

The Delray Beach Tennis Center is home a world class ATP event every year in addition to the Chris Everett Pro Am Charity Event.

World class competion is brought to this charming little town by the Ocean. Not to mention that the tennis tournament is very well run and is always packed. Also in years past, Delray Beach has been home to the United States Davis Cup Team which is quite an honor for any major city. To see what is going on right now, follow the Little Yellow Ball

Get your tickets here for this years ATP/Champions tour event that starts February 24th. Don't miss it. This year's format is a combination of world class players such as Andy Roddick and the old timers such as Ivan Lendl and Michael Chang.

Bostons on the Beach - This is one of my favorite places to hang out. Bostons is located right on A1A, across the street from the Atlantic Ocean. There is always a buzz coming out of this place and quite frequently they will have live music to hang out and listen too.

The Delray Beach Garlic Festival - This is the best stinkin time in town. There is a lot more than just garlic going on at this festival. Being a hot sauce lover I really appreciate this one.  

Delray Beach Green Market - Every weekend you will have a chance to take advantage of getting fresh local produce and also an interesting array of other products. You'll find fresh made cider donuts, fresh-off-the-vine produce, just-picked citrus and fragrant baked goods, organic beef, to fresh cut flowers, blooming plants and unique taste treats.

The Beaches Themselves - Gulfstream Beach is a classic example of the pristine family friendly beach that is less than a mile from the strip off of Atlantic Blvd east.
